In my work, I try to process and make visible the emotions connected to my impressions and the associations that arise during the working process. To this end, I largely use an abstract-expressive visual language. "Traces", excerpts, and fragments, as non-representational representatives of experiences and the associated emotions, are the guiding motif of my work. They symbolically represent what "remains", what truly leaves an "impression". The sketchy, unfinished-fragmentary quality, the suggestion of reality, and the visualization of textures are essential characteristics of my creative activity.
