Acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I've been encouraged to 'let go' when creating art and with this daring stormy artwork...I'm getting there!

A reminder that art sometimes needs to take its own course and not be too planned; this piece started out as a bright sea scape but gently, and remarkably, turned into a much more darker stormy story. A subtle green wash illuminates the remaining brightness of the piece - with a reminder that we may not know what is around the corner or rolling in....and that's ok. It's about feeling the painting process and seeing where it takes you!
