Joey Cruz Margarejo is a self-taught artist originally from the Philippines, now based in Canada. For nearly thirty years, he has been painting primarily with acrylic on canvas, relying on just two old brushes and a palette knife—simple tools that, in his hands, become powerful instruments of abstract expression.
His art, profound and instinctive, has crossed borders and been exhibited in major North American cities such as Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton, and New York. Currently, his works are regularly showcased at the ACCA Gallery in Beverly Hills, California.
His journey continues with new international destinations: upcoming exhibitions will take place in London, Monaco, Cannes, Hampton (New York), and various cities in Southeast Asia, bringing his creative vision to an ever-growing and diverse audience.
