Reassembled remains sinan ship
Reconstruction of the Hull

This image shows the conserved remains of the Sinan ship’s hull on display at the National Maritime Museum in Mokpo. The vessel’s flat-bottomed design and transverse bulkheads were crucial to its stability and cargo capacity. The reassembly process began in the 1980s, with over 28,000 timber pieces recovered and gradually re-fitted into the original ship’s framework.
