Mapping the Hold Cargo

The Sinan ship’s 15 compartments reveal a phased loading pattern. Longquan celadon dominated the bow, Jingdezhen blue-and-white wares the stern, with a diverse mixture midship. The spatial organisation suggests deliberate sequencing based on kiln location and delivery timing.
