Painting

A ‘Ξερολιθιά’ is the Greek term used to describe a terraced hill – over ridges, cascading downwards, used by farmers. They are predominantly found on the Cycladic islands such as Tinos and are present in almost every single view on the island. ‘Ξερολιθιές’ harbor a sense of nostalgia in me, as with ‘Περιστεριώνες’, they are my childhood. This is a depiction of my two worlds colliding: My heritage and love for Tinos, blending into my art and architectural side of the present. My life’s balance.
