Finless porpoise neophocaena asiaeorientalispixianai
Finless Porpoise (Neophocaena asiaeorientalis)

Adult Length: 1.5–2.0 metres
These small, shy porpoises are unique for lacking a dorsal fin. They inhabit shallow, murky coastal waters—including Korea’s west coast—and are vulnerable to fishing gear, pollution, and noise. Often seen alone or in pairs, they are among the most threatened cetaceans in Asia and are a focus of Korean conservation efforts.
