The Żabka Group unveiled its newest state-of-the-art automated logistics center in Radzymin, Poland June 26. Żabka said the 60,000-square-meter venue is the company's largest and most technologically advanced facility to date.
The center will be able to supply products to roughly 3,500 retail stores around the globe. Moreover, the center could eventually allow Żabka to expand its warehousing and automation capabilities to supply up to 5,000 stores globally.
Following the opening of this facility, Żabka’s logistics network now consists of eight logistics centers as well as 19 transshipment terminals.
"Technological advancement is a pillar of Żabka Group's overall development strategy, and the launch of the logistics center in Radzymin, as one of the most modern automated logistics centers in Europe, further confirms this,” said Tomasz Suchanski, CEO of Żabka Group. “The warehouse, spanning about 60,000-square-meters, is of strategic importance to us. Żabka is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary this year, so the timing of the opening is not arbitrary. It clearly reflects our unwavering resolve to ensure sustained development of the company in a very long-term perspective.”
