Manhattan Associates, Inc. has built new enhancements into its Manhattan ILS (Integrated Logistics Solutions) software. The product has been optimized for the Micrsoft .NET framework, to provide a common experience across all modules. Manhattan's is the first supply-chain software to achieve "Certified for Microsoft Dynamics" status, according to the vendor. It gives customers of Dynamics AX an application with independently tested integration that has been deployed at multiple companies. The Manhattan ILS suite includes warehouse, labor, transportation, yard, extended enterprise and performance-management modules. Features include a new graphical outbound dock-management screen, using Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation technology; improved visibility to dock locations, post-picking tasks and trailer loading; expansion of the service-oriented architecture (SOA) platform, and improvements to the Performance Management Dashboard, including a graphic representation of trend analysis. In addition, enhanced wave-management capabilities offer the ability to personalize shipment selection and more effectively manage custom wave filters, Manhattan said.
